What good at you at?

Taytay Vice founding member and current BCapt. Randy is my batchmat,, my groupmate as neophytes in LB.  Known for his swagger, confidence and good command of the English language, Randy was a hilarious batchmate since Nov. 29, 1987.

As neophytes, Randy displayed leadership and the will to achieve cohesiveness.  He gave us all neophytes a pep talk.  After a few sessions, it was Randy's turn to get a pep talk.

Randy attributes his language skills to his high school in Mendiola.  He made a mark when Do Singson '88 was presented.  It was something like this:

Randy '87: "Mr. Singson, what good at you at"
Do '88:  "Pardon me?"
Randy '87: "What good at you at"
Do '88:  "Excuse me?"
Randy '87:  (in his barong, stands up, takes a puff from his cigarette and shouts) ANO KA BA? HINDI KA BA MARUNONG MAG-INGLES? WHAT GOOD, AT YOU AT?

The rest is Upsilon grammatical history.
